FAQ's - What to know before you book
When should I book my newborn session?
The earlier, the better. I cannot guarantee last minute availability and urge you to book in as soon as you know your due date. Babies may arrive early or late but as long as you keep me updated with what's going on and get in contact when baby has arrived, we can organise your session date within the first two weeks.
When should I book my maternity session?
Maternity sessions are best done around 33-36 weeks of pregnancy, however it is recommended to make your booking at the start of your second trimester (13-15 weeks) to ensure that your date is secured early.
Where are your shoot locations?
I am located in the Dandenong Ranges, however I have multiple locations for you to choose from depending on what sort of style you are after. If you have a look at my Instagram you will see a highlight showing my frequently used locations, and I am always happy to use a spot that you prefer depending on travel.
Do I need to pay upfront?
No you don't need to pay the full amount upfront, but I do require a $100 non-refundable deposit to secure your booking. The rest can be paid on the day of your session.
Do you charge a travel fee?
Anything over 50km from Kallista 3791 will incur a $100 travel fee. This does include most beach locations.
Do you have a studio?
No I don't have a studio as most of my sessions are outdoors. Newborn sessions are done in the comfort of your own home to save the stress of leaving the house with a fresh baby, and save the stress of taking bubs out in harsh weather conditions. If you do wish to do your newborn session outdoors, please feel free to ask me and we can organise this!
Do you have a client wardrobe?
I have a range of newborn and maternity options available. Feel free to ask me for photos of these or check out my 'client wardrobe' highlight on my Instagram page (@teaganwilliamsphotography).
Do you provide everything for a newborn session?
Yes. I will bring a posing bean bag, blankets, wraps and newborn outfits.
How will I receive my photos?
Via online gallery that only you will be able to see. You can view and download all of your high resolution images from here.
How long will it take to receive my gallery?
My current turnaround time is roughly 2-5 weeks. I will always try to get them to you as soon as I can, but I am also a stay at home mum with 2 young kids, and some days are chaos!
